BHIM RAO RAMJI AMBEDKAR(1891-1956)



One of India’s foremost revolutionaries Dr. B.R. Ambedkar grew up untouchable. Battling against the odd he gained multiple doctorates, campaigned against social discrimination and the caste system and went on to draft the constitution of India.

GRAPHIC NOVEL is a fictional story that is presented as a book in comic strip format. 
  • It may be fictional or non fictional work.
  •    A graphic novel  is a comic strip art. But comic strip art is not always Graphic Novel..
  • It deals with serious issues also.
  •  It uses sequential  art to tell a story.
  •   It also deals with histories and incidents.                                                                     EXAMPLE: "Tintin in Tibet", "Epileptic".
GOND ART



It is an art of drawing using natural elements  like  soil, mud, cowdung, leaves etc. This art was first used by the central Indian tribal community called Gond.Gond drawings tells stories through  visual aid-memoirs that artist once applied exclusively  to domestic architecture.
            This novel BHIMAYANA has also the same art but the drawing is made with multi-colored clays with paints and inks.
